Hi, I am working on a TC mod for ZH, and I am having some problems with transparency, its not the W3D, but the TGA, is there a special format you have to save a TGA in? I have Photoshop CS

Transparency is normally done on the model, otherwise, with a TGA you must have the transparent areas as transparent in Photoshop, and then export to a 32 bit TGA.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

You need to use transparency masks for transparency on the texture. Check the help file on your image application for that.
Then in RenX use Alpha Blend when applying the texture.

Yes, I know how to use the Material Editor from Renx. About the DDS, does it need to be saved in a special format for transparency?

I have come across another problem, concerning cameos.
I did everything that was in the tutorial but it still wont work. I make my own TGA cameos (2). I get their INI coordinates with CameoMapper, I add those coordinates to SAUserInterface.INI, which I put in the /Data/INI/Mapped Images/TextureSize_512/.
I add my TGA files to the Art/textures folder. and then I changed the name of the cameo a unit is using to the name of my cameo. But it still wont work. I dont know what I'm doing wrong.

I'm now registered, to make it more easy. I still haven't found out what is wrong with my cameos though.

Check your spelling on the name of the cameo, and could you explain what exactly the problem is with your cameo? Does it not show up, is it a purple box, etc.

The spelling can't be it. I copy the ''Mapped Image'' name and use that for the unit. It simply does not show up at all. As if the INI isn't used
