Well, first of all I think I should inform you of the game. It is called "Doom3" and is fucking AWESOME! Even on Low detail level and reso 640x480 it OWNS any game I have ever played!

... The game dissapeared, I loaded my comp today and all traces of doom3 (except the icons and links I setup) were gone! So I had to reinstall all of it, I was ruffly 20 missions into the game and now I'm back in the facility... dammit I was in hell too. Its much easier playing through a second time though, and I found a bunch of little hidden places, so I'm not running out of ammo very easily this time.

perhaps... or what I think it was is some mod installer that I downloaded, but it requires a connection to the internet, and I think the thing buged cuz I'm on dialup and went postal on me. Either way, I'm back to communications... I don't play for quite as many hours a day though, as its a bit disapointing (I was in hell dammit)

You could also have gotten nailed by a system restore. I had someone install a program, and for some reason it screwed their system, and when it worked again, it was gone. I'm almost positive system restore did it.
