In the caravan chase:- Will it be set to night, of course, or?
- Will you have lots of trees on the hillsides, so that the
Assassins wil can shoot arrows on the caravan from
nowhere?

Wiil you add other cultures in later versions. Like samurais, aztec indians, greece or egypt.

Will you make the combat system like sengoku, because thats the best middle age combat system i have seen. Siege was good too, but sengoku was better.

Just wondering you know? ;) Cant wait to the release.

This mod is gonna rock around the clock!!!!!! or something like that.......

A: This map will be an extremely dark map. Fog will cover the path, along with map ambeince such as Crickets, owls, wolves, and crows. You will also hear footsteps such as crunching on leaves, and someone whispering. The Moon will shine brightly, and the path is surrounded by hills that are packed with trees.

Q:  Wiil you add other cultures in later versions. Like samurais, aztec indians, greece or egypt.


A: Thats actually a very good question. So far, we have our timeline set from 700ad-1400ad. The armies that will be featured in 1.0 (first public alpha) will be the English, Franks, Norseman and Assassins (Assassins arnt really considered an army but they are still part of the game). But our goal is to also add the Scotts, Irish=(In one map) Italians, Sicilians=(In one map), Teutons, Byzantines, Ottoman, Egyptians, Almohads=(In one map), Spain=(In one map) and Islamic Assassins. We will also have some maps in which Two armies fight Two other armies, such as Irish and Scotts vs English and Franks (How this will work is still a secret to the public :p ). As for your question about going off into different eras in time (Romans/Trojans/Carthagins/Scythians{BC} or timelines that go into the Renissance with Musketeers or Spanish Conquistadors) still lies secret to the public as well.

A: Our Combat system will top what sengoku has done and we are using completely new Animations, Physics, and Even button command rework.

OK ;) something more:

-How much space/downlaod time will the mod have?

-Are the horses gonna have animation on the legs, or will it be like the one in siege wich was weird and with jeep sound. :p

-will you have civilian NPCs in the town inside the forts?

-How can you make the game intense with max 64 players. The wars in the past featured 100000s men. I am not asking you too nor suspects 100000 men, but how are you gonna make it intense?

-Can you throw people with the catapult, and like sling them over the landscape and into an castle? ;)

-will you feature naval battles?

and what the heck are almohads ;)

Will you remake the voices, like the norsemen shouting: Til Bardagah
How will you then make celtic voices ;)
and these cultures down in the desert.

Almohads are North African/Iberian Muslim nation. The Spanish, Aragonese, and French fought the Reconquista against them to regain the lands which are known as modern day Spain.

At this point that is unknown. Until we finish the final build, i have no comment on that

Well i think its too early right now to be giving off that kind of information. We want lots and lots of surpirses when you guys first play DoC. So i will give you too hints: **The horse is not a vehicle (meaning better animations) and Not everyone can ride the horse ;)**

Yes! although it is only in siege type maps where part of the goal for the siegeing team is to raid the inside of the town and the other goal will be to capture it (when an NPC dies, you the defending team will lose tickets). You will see NPC Peasants, Smithys, Kings, Princesses, Princes, Queens, Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Mules, Horses, and even an Executioner ;). They will be wandering around in there respective areas (Smithy=Blacksmith/King=Royal qaurters in the Castles keep) And you can find them in Towns, Villages, Castles, and sometimes even wandering the country sides with sheep (Sheep Herder)

Good question, and we have already thought of ways to make this more realistic. Our first idea was to have people spawn with 5-10 men each but we figured that it would cause problems with animation/coding/and possibly lagg.

So instead, we have thought of an even better idea. On WAR type maps such as Agincourt and Battle of Crecy, We might end up putting around 100-200 npc players battleing eachother (50 english vs 50 French or 100 english vs 100 french). They will automatically being in battle (Animations and Coding will be a pain in the ass to add that feature but its well worth it) fighting each other (we're not sure if we are just going to let them sit there and make it look as if there fighting eachother, or if we are actually going to have them able to kill eachother) but you will be able to join in the fight. If we do this, you can expect to see archers in lines of 50-100 firing arrows toward someones spawnpoint or randomly into the middle of the field. But whatever we plan on doing, it will not be released to the public because as i said before, we want lots and lots of surprises ;)

Yes you can. But since we removed parachutes, they will most likely end up dead

heeey!! damn cool!! ;) I actually was joking a little with that catapult throw, but you can actually do it? Awsome.

I think i understand that horse hint: *hrmph,knight,hrmph*.

I think the NPC soldier idea is Brilliant.yeehaw!!

I think this mod have the chance to be as succesfull as DC(desert combat), your name is DOC you know, almost DC ;)

this is commando and I was wondering if maybe in DoC I could be a princess and stealthy and combat shotgun can rescue me. make a map with that in it.

ya i mean, we can make an executioner map, and of course model an NPC exactly like Commando and have the team members of DoC along with the public smack commando around with a huge axe repeatedly. That would be extremely fun, we can call this mod. Smack commando around with a huge axe :laugh:
