I bought a seond hand computer off of a mate today.

For #300s (yet to find the setting for UK keyboards) i got:

- 2 old, ok, small moniters
- a whole computer:
-- 1.7ghz Athlon
-- 256mb DDR ram
-- dvd
-- Ge-F 4 Ti 128DDR
-- 20gig HD
-- semi-sweet mother board
-- optic mouse
-- network and modem cards
- ALL his games, about 20+
- 15 PCGamer magazins with all there DVD disks (maybe a bad thing as there heavy and take up space)
- 2 speekers
- all i can think of

I think it's good for 300 pounds. With the added money hes going to buy a car, so i'll get some lifts home to :p

Still, not too bad a deal, especially with dual monitors.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

The Ge-F 4 was the most appealing. I can now play NS in 32 bit colour.

Impresscive, but i'd rather spend my money on nothing.

Does anyone know how to change the keyboard to UK in XP?
My poor # sign is lost :) , along with the odd @/" switch.

Control Panel> Regional and Language Options
Go to "Advanced" tab
There's a drop down that has to say English (UK), not sure if it changes the keyboard or not though.

Daz's way does not work.

Not there for me either.

I did find the option to change from a 24lame clock to a normal 12hour :)

I'm very sure this is it.
Control Panel> Regional and Language> Languages Tab> Details button.
I'm sure you can figure it out from there.

££££ you! :)

Had to reinstall windows again after NVRefresh killed it, this time i installed the UK keyboard while XP was installing.

I still have all my files in my old computer, i just need to copy them over as needed.
Free HD space again
