I agree with Airbis in some ways. Alot of our members (Punks4life, Sado, Howzer, Metriod, DTX, and others barely did anything). But ultimiss, Bdizzle, DMX, and Anti contributed alot to the mod (About 8-12 models each, and anti produced some kick ass death screams, Bow and Crossbow effects)

But altogether Me, JC, and Airibis were holding this mod together along with our newest member, sk8bar. If it wasnt for us, we'd be nowhere.

We can only learn from the past and deal with it in the future. Now, we're stressing way too much over DOC so we're going to take a break from it (until BF2 comes out), but in the mean time some of us are going to begin an FH Expansion mod based on italy and france of ww2.

:D Sounds like you dev team wer'nt really ready for the stress. Since mods are not a paying job, and peoples lives are'nt dedacated to it, you must find alot of people, thats most likely the problem. Some people are willing to help more then others and u got to find those type of people. Allthought i was looking Very much Fwd to thjis mod because of its uqineness more then any other "game-mod" i am even more upset that the dev team gave up. i have'nt seen this ever for this type of mod going so well. In the future i only expect as 1 fan to see more True for the fans. If things dont go so well, dont hide it but express it to the fans and they will help you. i would no problem just i would need some help finding or getting better software to learn how to do the things you need done ect and there are many more who would agree with me on that.

on other subjects like your collage we all understand. I put collage as a side result of the things i do in life. Fuclke imm gonna join the airforce for my job ^^ no need for pesky school. Airforce makes up for anything i want to do and pays for my life i want to life aswhell as the combat i need. But as a fan, i pleed with you not to give up but contunie on Slowly as most a lot of mods take a year + sometimes to do and you yet still are in the starting stages and should'nt be stressed out. Your eaither pushing in the worng direction, I know from past fan experiance that Recruit anyone that wants to join is'nt enough. if u want this mod to be good, you got to look for them too. goto other mod teams that are allmost done with there mods and see if some of there team can do some stuff or maby even transfur over to your mods to help out since they have good experiance. if i was makeing a skill in a certian part of a mod i would love to get "come and help us out" e-mails. and depending if your mods worth what it sounds "witch yours is" you could get a bunch of really good artist, modelers, coders, ect.
well thats my o-pin-yin for ya chaps. Later ^^

well we're not giving up if thats what you mean. Its just that weve been stressing over it way to much and its taking up alot of the time that we barely have. We're going to continue the mod on BF2 but for now we'll be working on the WW2 side project.

and WWII isnt going to stress you?

Why you dont make a break for a weak, work a bit, take again a break, may release a v0.5 or something like that....?

ya i mean you dont have to rush anything kinda like what -Guest said, Most of us are still gonna be 100% all for this mod because again of its uqineness. Waiting for the new Bf2 sounds like a smooth plan since its really not that far away and could be a better choice too like you say, but finishing something like a small release for us could give more of something to look fwd to for tho's uncommeted fans witch everyone mod needs. Seige released a quick screwed up version but they had a good vision and as do you but if you wanted to be better as you said in the past, then that stress that some of u speak of...sounds like someone spilt a coke on a keyboard and now the world is dead to you or something. so get up, steal your friends keyboard and say u bought it and it just looks like his. and move on  -Desperatly wanting to play something good and with fn objectives, something to last till Bf2 and it would have to be a masterpeace to hold out and imm sure since u few thought up this idea, that should'nt be a problem-

All Hail the Airforce and Troops overseas!

my reason to leave the mod was simple lack of dedication. My best friend is marine corps infantry leaving for iraq tomorrow, another good friend of mine is a medic in the 82nd airborne and is shipping out for afghainstan in a few months. On top of that tomorrow im moving back into school and this semester is going to be slightly more stressful than what ive had before. I havent given up on doc, im still leaving all my models as well as the website/domain name (which i own) with the team. I have intentions of coming back someday, after i get my shit straightened out.
