Heck my system can't run STV-EF2
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

From Fen's analysis:
I'd say add a few hundred megahertz to the processor, the GFX card being at least 64mb and ensure your hard drive has a few gigs free. Lately games seem to eat hard drives like Pac-Man, so I wouldn't expect HL2 to be easy on it, either.
HL2 is supposedly going to be released sometime next month.
