Is it possibe to start a game with no structure?
If not, how do I get a structure to "not be there"?
As in it's there, but it's not there.

If you edit the skirmish and or multiplayer scripts, you can start without a building. Otherwise, no, you cannot.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

What you could do is just create a invisible, very small object to act as a building. Make this the starting building instead of a normal Command Centre. The only problem with this would be that you could never end the game because it would be untagetables and invisible and incredibly small. I cant think of any code in the building that you could used to kill it though, so the game would never end.

Actually MasterMind is only half right :)

You can modify PlayerTemplate.ini to start with another building and not the command center :)

Yes, but you cannot start without a building, as you will instantly lose. I never said you couldn't modify the building you start with. I said you must either edit the scripts, or start with a building.
