It could not be completely plugged into your video card, that would explain why it shuts off occasionally, but not always.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

When you reach for a pen to write something down, your small movments could shake the power cable. I'm always pulling my headphones out when i reach for pens.

And, although you probably arent doing this, make sure your feet arent anywhere near the power for the monitor. I've unplugged it before.

Thanks for your help guys, it turned out that it was my drivers, bang out of date...

BUT.... since I have got the new drivers, it hasnt crashed, but generals is playing up. When I boot the game up, it is all like... red.

Somthing like this happened when I first got zero hour and I gave EA a buzz and they said that I needed new drivers, and once I got them it worked fine... But I have the newest drivers and I cannot understand why it isnt working...

(PS - I have a GeForce 4 MX Graphics card, if that helps anyone)

Can't say I can help there. My computer with an MX won't install ZH, so I don't know. I don't think I've got the newest drivers, but I've got the second newest set, and they work fine with my Ti 4200.

I've got an MX, everything seems fine for me and always has.
6.13.10.2720 is the driver version I have.
