We've got a Lascannon Sentinel.

yep we have a lascannon varient sentinel, modelled skinned and at least part way animated. If you check the faction specific thread and then Imperial guard - Cadians its at the bottom.

Varients should be pretty easy to shake up now we've got this far with this one.

How about the Sentinel comes with a Multilaser, and you can unit-upgrade each to whatever weapons you need (i.e. H.Flamer, Autocannon, Lascannon).

Actually, if Air units are to be included, how about some AA units (Hydra ).




If you want this to be more of an ideas thread and less of a "What I wanna see" thread, how about pointing towards the sort of areas you'd like suggestions for?
I mean, nobody here has played any version of the mod yet, and I'm 100% sure you guys know what units you want to add. Just a thought anyway.

It just wont be implemented until air units are added.

An area that would be nice to get suggestions about is the whole supply thingymabob.

Well thats not right, the Lasscannon is a Armigeden Steel legion veriant.
The Cadian Shock Troops have an Auto-Cannon version.

Will you be including the missile and rocket vesion?

yeah i think the skin is going to be re-worked for steel legion,

although we'd decided that the Cadians could have a lascannon you are right, technically they shouldn't, but as far as first release goes, the cadians have their 3 tanks already.

Missile and rocket sents... My they do look like fun

Well the sentinel was based on the Steel Legion Sentinel as at the time I made it we were going for Steel Legion as our first Imperial Guard Regiment.

hmm, as far as the animator is concerned, a walking animation, plus two firing animations would be more than enough for a tank . i dunno if death anims would be necessary, just make it a pile of dead stuff like feet standing in a smoking crater .

if we're gonna add other weapons, we might need other firing anims though.
