hehe.. those hats look cool though, and almost every other nation is going to have a helmet, so we made the japanese look a little different.

Well, just wait and see then. You might be surprised.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |

yes they wear those caps too, but they do have helmets, when they invaded china and stuff, but im drawing experience from movies (rape of nanking, thin red line, etc.), and in indochina/south east asia, they have those flaps behind the caps, local TV productions recounting the war always depict them as wearing those caps.... i was just rather amazed that they had no helmets, helmets sure make a soldier look different, more intimidating, tougher

the rifles look a bit odd... I'm not to familiar with the small arms rifles of the japs during WWII, but I would think them to be smaller, made of as much wood as metal, and not look like modern assualt rifles... but the rest looks good in my opinion.

But like I said I don't know much about Japanesse weaponry during WWII, so don't flame me if I'm incorrect...

what the f**k are you talking about, the basic Japanese rifle was practicaly made of all wood, except for the barrel and the bolt pieces....80% metal, ya that gun...But what you said about all of their guns, thats just bullshit. Teh damn basic rifle was as tall as many soldiers, and taller than alot when the bayonet was added. It was a very ackward weapon.

They are carrying a light machine gun, not that rifle. :rolo:

Mongoose was talking about the type-99 machine gun, not all of the Japanese weapons.

They are wearing those caps, although they do seem a little big. The 'bullet proof vest' is actually a back-pack, although i can see why you are mistaken, as all the screenshots are taken from behind.

And the helmets..? shhh.. secret.. :tocol:
