Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.

The Hippo tank is Godwin's BMP-1 with minor modifications and a new turret.
The Elephant tank is Me2's Allied Heavy tank with minor modifications and a new turret. Barrel looks somehow familiar too...
Lefthand, you must credit other ppl if you use their work, or else it is regarded as stealing. In some cases, you need to get the original voxel's creator(s)' permission if you want to modify it.

you have some sharp eyes there. I didn't think it would be stealing if you modified them from the original vxls. Afterall I believe this is how copyright material works to some extent.
For Godwin's BMP-1 I used the base of the BMP vehicle. The turret I recall was just a plain WW turret from the IFV combinations.
Me2's Allied Heavy tank is the same story but I used both turret and base.
But if you are in Rome do what the Romans do and I will place credit where credit is due once that I have fixed the normals, send them for download and mention the original source of vxl within the readme file.
Does that sound fair?

As long as the original owners are happy to have their work modified, giving credit to them when basing work off their creations is the correct thing to do.
The ideal solution is of course to make your own units 100% from scratch Given that you seem to have some talent in vxling, I look forward to your future efforts.

I agree with Eagle eye, i made the same mistake as Left Hand about editing other peoples voxels and i got branded a cheat and fraud...

...With proper credits to the original authors. After this, it is nothing but original work.
I think the lesson has been learnt. Let's not make undue fuss now, shall we?
