Is there any kind of CPannel around here? Or somewhere hostees can check the usage stats of their sites?

Ask for someone to check. We don't give out cPanel to hostees, but we do use it.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

You can rig it up. It's setup like that for those using the cncguild domain.
It's just a hassle we don't need.

If you want cPanel, you should goto a paid hosting company which don't mind the hassle, as they are getting paid ;)

Giving out cPanel to hostees is simple as setting them up with the Web Host Manager. Not too difficult.

Hostees don't need all of those things. The most they need is stats, and that can be arranged. Otherwise, there is no real reason to give them a full cPanel account.

But once an admin sets up the database, the user can mess around with it after that. No need for cpanel to do that...

you don't need cPanel to dot that all you need to do is have an admin set you up another folder on your domain thats passworded so they can access it only and not your other domain folders

Mmmm... domain

http://www.miasmaent...ent.com/cpanel/

Sif youll guess the password, i changed it :party:

The passwording is a pain in the ass though, you cant use words or reversed words, or what it thinks to be reversed. My password is just random characters with two exclamation marks (e.g. fdjoi!!) but its a "reversed word" and doesnt allow it. In the end I have this wierd combo that I can barely remember. :D

Sorry for bringing this old topic up again, but I need a counter system that is invisible for vistiors. Can I get one? :D

I need little download center as well, for searching and "Order files by type" and stuff like that. Any ideas? :p

Sign up with a fake account. They have counter systems available.

EDIT: Cpanel doesnt provide those, anyway. :p

If you want it to count page views, and not unique visits, you could try:

<?php
$fp=fopen("counter.txt","r");
$count=fgets($fp,1024);
fclose($fp);
$fw=fopen("counter.txt","w");
$cnew=$count+1;
$countnew=fputs($fw,$count+1);
fclose($fw);
echo "$cnew";
?>

note: you need a file named counter.txt in the same directory, and it needs to start off with the number 0 in it. Simply include it on any page you want counted.

If you want it to be transparent to the user, just remove the echo statement at the end.
:p
