Sorry Ali, but I have to agree with Detail on this one. (Yes, I'm either drunk, high, fatigued, or you dreamt this j/k)

I believe that you could become a highly productive person, Ali. If you actually applied time and effort to what you do. It's clear you're committed to Revora, I'll say that much. And I'll have to say you've lessened your spam, and become considerably more mature.

When he says creative I don't think he means chuck a thousand things at us, and rush every one of them into the dust.

Take your time with one of those wallpapers. I personally love Terragen. It's easy to use, it creates wonderful renders...but what you lack is the spark on the rest of the image. Maybe some more finesse with the Revora logo (as opposed to simply picking a font on Paint Shop Pro and sticking it somewhere).

Or, alternately, maybe you could do wallpapers for hosted projects, too? That'd give you a lot more scope to do let creative juices flow and also give you some more flexibility (it's hard to make something for Revora, for Revora isn't really anything you can do/play/see/hear. However Mental Omega, Robot Storm, The 3rd Age...those are tangible things that you can advertise and pymp )

You get that down to a fine art, and I'm sure D will welcome you with open arms. And hell, I think everyone else on the forum would respect you more, too

The citizen group (which is actually called "Comizen") is a group where people indicates other people to join and depending if Detail aproves, the person wll join it. Other than that, they sit around doing nothing at all :|.

First, it was unanymous that you spammed too much recently because of a custom title. My post before the one you quoted questioned these 2 weeks, since if you search for your posts, you'd find spams (plural) a way more recent than a 2 weeks spam, although some are not related to custom title..

Second, this opinion wasn't only mine. It was shared by everyone else who replied to that topic, except Detail and you (duh).

Third, everyone's suggestion (except Details's) was to accept you in the group after some significant time with spam rate in a acceptable level.

Fourth, D is not the only admin in this place, neither the supreme dictator here although he is the most powerfull person here with Hybrid and MM. Revora is still a democracy.

Fifth, D made a complete mockery of the comizens idea with that, since he ignored all other people who posted in that topic.

I was just enforcing the rules of this place. I have absolutelly nothing against you, Chaos. You are a nice and friendly guy. I like you.



But I don't care now if you are comizen or not... and I'm no longer interested on this comizen idea. It was a good stuff, but totally wrongly used here. My $0.02.

Last time I checked, the way to get in is to be nominated and be seconded, with the citizens generally agreeing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly sure no one seconded the nomination. Also, Detail isn't the only administrator. His making you a citizen goes against the rules he helped set up, anyway

I have alot of respect for you D hosting my mod and basically being a good guy, but I can not respect you generally going against your own system and elect someone against others will. It just isnt right...

I agree quite a lot with Bansh. I am not sure quite what good the Comizen thing is going to do for Revora. By the looks of things, everyone who's anyone is/will become a part of it. Soon enough therefore everyone will be Comizen, and the only people who are Members or Hosted are n00bs. Everyone else? Citizen.

Maybe it's that I don't understand quite what D is trying to achieve and gain with his pseudo-democracy.

There are 6 Admins on the site. That's the same number as we had at the Guild. Yet, no offence, but there may as well only be one.
Hostile (and I quote): "I have little or no say who gets it..."
If you're supposed to be his equal, that should mean you have every right to renounce his decision.

Hybrid: Let's be fair to him, even when I was Admin he showed little/no spine in standing up to D, even though technically these two were supposed to rule jointly, even over other admins, since they were the leaders of the two networks that formed Revora. I think he's just given in to everything D has asked in order to avoid argument. And as a result, he's griped to me for more hours over MSN than he has spent actually GETTING THINGS SORTED.

Arg: Not around enough to make a great difference. Or for me to make a proper assesment.

Banshee: As far as I've seen, Bansh is a pro-D anyway, but he is most active and vocal in keeping D in his place. Of course I don't see the admin forums, and he became admin after I left, so I'm going by what I have seen.

MM: MM seems just to deal with technical issues. He's the guy on the end of the phone line who makes everything better. But what little I have seen he's a bit of a mediator/diffuser (prolly because he confuses everyone else! ).

With D expecting everyone to have crystal balls, contradicting himself, and going along with his own thing blindly avoiding any sort of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' comments given by other members, expecting a 'better idea' (even if the best idea is leaving as-is)...is it any wonder it seems like D is the only admin? The others should stop being paper tigers.
