Just as proof we are very busy.. .we have released 6 Internal Beta's so far and the Alpha, and I'm about to ship off version 7... which we will be testing soon, and hopefully releasing soon... We just haven't mentioned our internal betas.. that's all:P

yep but this time it really is soon, the polishing has taken far longer than we thought.

But... We're already testing a pretty polished version now thanks to Cal and Boomers hard work.

Its looking good like!

Just hope everyone knows its a pretty cut down version and that not all the units in the Faction Specific threads will be in.

as a general rule its 3 tank choices and 3 infantry choices per faction, with more coming soon after the first release.

(Just hoping to avoid any disappointment)

It may have taken 2 years but we've got together a damn near professional level mod together, the concept is 40k but ALL the modelling and artwork, skinning sounds etc etc are our own work produced from scratch let it never be said we're ripping other peoples work. (although it is obviously based on GWs 40k ) kinda defeats my point

Well Hobbes is absolutely right...

GW is holding VERY strict copyright rules and so do other games..
so stealing or 'using' sounds/models/textures etc from other games without clear permission is forbidden..

The Halflife mod Rival Species got almost closed down due to this...BY GAMES WORKSHOP!
and from my own point of view: it's much more fun and better for everyone if everything is made from scratch, this keeps the mod 100% original...

@Boomer: soon my friend, i'm having the Chimera and Basilisk sounds converted to Wav, now i gotto edit them and then reconvert them again...

BIG EDIT: you might want to ask your soundguys if they want to supply their files in WAV format instead of MP3

saves me a batchconversion every single time
