Well i've recently been getting into the skinning field and wanted to know if it were possible to make the skin (where its 2D) and in Photoshop make it 3D so I can see how it would look like in tthe game. It's quite difficult to figure out where everything is going to be when you have a 2D skin.

Ok, but another question. I'm trying to let Legolas be able to mount a horse. However, once I export my model (using Eomer's horse and horsebones, and Legolas on top with his bones) there are no more bones at all. The only items taht are left are the bounding box, Legolas, and the horse.

open up just the skeleton first, than resave it with a new name. Than bring your model in and when exporting click export with this skeleton. You can than browse for the new skeleton file. It is better to resave a new one than reference the original.

Animnations will still work also.

I took Eomer's horse's skeleton, combined it with Legoas, then exported it as a skeleton. However, nothing shows up when I open it. DO you have to select all items before you export?

There's a good quick guide to exporting from renx Here:

That's what I've always used and it works for me. :)
