Anyway it must be said that Core's animation is not correctly coded. Maybe you should add 'PingPong=yes' to art anim tag?

Mmm they did have alot in common tech wise, I remember using the cheat mode on the PC version, and controlling each faction, all were very similar. If not identical apart from the scavengers.
Natus 3.4

Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.

Wz2100's only difference lay in the weapons and vehicle bodies, which of course became more advanced as you went through.

There was no difference in the structures, except for Scavs.

BTW, Natus, do you still have the PC version? Me and Apollo play sometimes. Perhaps you might care to join us sometime possibly?

Although people may say that this is similar to the current design. It isn't!

These are just thought of how i though it could be. JUST A THOUGHT!

Enjoy :p

Damn :p Well but i think a rip can play with a rip init :p

Id buy wz2100 if it was ever sold anymore. Same goes for a game called metal fatigue. Great game but noone sells it. Such a pity cause many peeps are looking for it.

I believe he would be working on Warzone. However, I would like to make just ONE MORE MAJOR CHANGE to this mod.

And yes, I am willing, given time, to produce the multitude of SHPs necessary.

Ever play NEXUS, capture a Allied/Freedom base, and wonder why in hell he'd make human units (or the humans would follow him?)?

Well, I propose that most/all major infantry get a Terminator variant. Eg, Allied Guardian becomes Pulse Gunner (uses allied infantry weapon)
(Rebel Gunner is obsolete unit, so doesn't get ANYTHING new!)
Tank Hunter becomes Tank Killer (has rocket pod on arm)
Chrono Legionnaire becomes Teleportinator ( :rolleyes: ) with proton cannon etc.
Heavy Gunner becomes Minigunner (more powerful)
Crazy Ivan becomes Grenadier (grenade launcher instead of dynamite throw)
Thief becomes Infestor Drone (instead of having a regular robotic chassis, it has a terrordrone look)
Eruptor becomes Energy Gunner (same weapon)

Of course, this would beat the idea of allied/freedom infantry being given healing properties by the tech facility. It would also give NEXUS a distinct advantage, as he would have all his own benefits of the robotic infantry, but none of the human characteristics (promotion, weaker health, radiation vulnerability).

What do you think?

That's sounds like a good idea :rolleyes:

However i'm not sure wether it would give Nexus an unfair advantage on the battlefield. But good ideas though :laugh:

Nexus would have to take over a enemy base first :rolleyes:

Thas true. Remember, NEXUS has a great many deficits, so this one small plus point could help him level it up in an InfWar.

Think about it:

NEXUS has no effective countermeasure for Pulverizers (which, although designed as anti-inf, were particularly designed with NEXUS in mind). Electron Tanks are NEXUS-busters.

NEXUS units cannot fully stand up to their 'equivalents' (or more specialised units) of Allied or Freedom. He cannot be promoted, and most of his units are actually weaker. His main advantage is the Centurion's power (which seems diminished with every new version! :rolleyes:), and Predator's effectiveness against defences, and even those flag.

Even if this advantage doesn't fully compensate, it'd give NEXUS players an incentive to capture stuff. All the benefits of the Allied/Freedom units with all the benefits of NEXUS immunity. =)

yeah like jerkov said i'm working more on yr:warzone and giving this some rest but still current work so far is not still enough for RS 2.0 and eventually the secret cloud over the yr:warzone mod is removed (it's not YR to warzone 2100 TC however).

the infantry plans are interesting tho...pulse gunner would be the ultimate basic infantry :rolleyes:

gfx would be a bit demanding depending on how its done but i'll keep it in mind for now...

also any other unit changes/new things you might want, post 'em on. :laugh:

I'll give the weapon changes a go. Here, in more organised form, is what I had in mind:

Guardian --> Pulse Gunner
Eruptor --> Energy Gunner
Legionnaire --> Chrono Eliminator
Enforcer --> Hunter-Killer
Rebel Gunner --> NOTHING! (Weapon is obsolete, since NEXUS has his own machinegun on the Terminator)
Tank Hunter --> Tank Killer
Heavy Gunner --> Minigunner
Crazy Ivan --> Grenadier
Hijacker --> Infestor Drone
Saboteur --> Infiltrator
Devolver (if bother to use) --> Robo-Devolver

Essentially most of these would use same/similar weapon as their human counterparts. The exception is the Grenadier, which I imgine is a weaker version of the Predator, rather than dynamite ownage.
I'll make the new graphics. They'll only need minor alterations of the existing ones. The Energy Gunner could use the Eradicator SHP, while the Chrono Eliminator is filled by the current Executioner. The biggest problem is the Tank Killer and Hunter-Killer I think. TK would be solved by a big sideways-on rocket pod, while HK would need a backpack and 'bobbing' anims, which I may need help with. But I assume the backpack could be put on easily enough :rolleyes: I know enough about infantry SHPing to do that.

The style of archieture is different from RS.

Just because RS has Nexus doesn't mean its literally Nexus :huh:
