Now that the new site is ready and the mod has been basically released in beta form (damn technical problems, the miracles of technology eh?) and the mod is having its second birthday, let us remember the good old days of onlywar when the forums broke down, the levithan mobile fortress thing was first shown and the mod was under the leadership of Kained (not that u guys are rubbish, ur bloody wonderful).

was anyone here for the even older days, the gaming forums forum, the first time the thunderhawk (tornado's not omni's) was made, omnisight submiting all the amazing space marine vehicles, when the generals 4000 team merged with only war, then broke up due to feuding, the famous pyro monkey vs bommerang python thread, the remerging of the teams (after kained became leader)?
now that was the good old days, i miss that thread boomer we should start another one up
for all who dont know me and boomer werent exactly the best of friends in the old days

sorry, memory isn't what it used to be, especially at the ripe old age of 16. i would have checked on the old site, but the nonexistence of it anymore sort of hindered me. at least i got the first 2 letters right changed it now

Yea the old days were good. *sighs*
I loved the verbal punchons that used to take place as our forum burned with raging abuse for anything that Torn didnt like lol.
I remember my post about the possibility Librarians, Commissars and psychic powers being nuked by everyone because "it was all in the plan" (yea right).

Ah yea they were good. Pyro and Boomers verbal slash-fests were good comedic relief and its too bad all the progress and units we had havent eventually come out in the 1st release, even though I remember a release hype all that time ago

That is just a bit from before i joined

I actually was on the team on it's 1st birthday, i joined 2 months earlier i guess..

But i followed this project from when it went on as Onlywar on PCNC...
Watched it a few months and then suddenly decided to try and join in. Still i've got no regrets
