Does the release of the new patch mean we all have to redo our csf files?

Actaully, I have just discovered that you don't need to redo the csfs. Just remove the englishpatch102.big instead of 101.

There arent any, they didn't add any new units or maps did they. All they did was edit the units stats wasn't it...

No units or maps but they did these:

"Corrected the map descriptions for Old Brown Lands and Mirkwood.

Added tooltips for the new Communicator that was added in patch 1.01.

The tooltip and help text for the Mordor Furnace are now consistent."

They'd be in the new one.

Hmm well I never actually noticed that the furnace and map descriptions were wrong in the first place.

using lotr.str instead of lotr.csf is one way of dealing with the patch but lotr.str in data\ gets loaded over lotr.csf, meaning if someone who plays foreign versions of B4ME and install the mod with lort.str, he/she will get forced to play in English. I don't like this so I re-editted lotr.csf for the patch :(

I use the str file, I find it a lot easier.

yea it's a lot easier but if somebody with foreign verions of B4ME intalls the mod with lotr.csf written in English, he/she gets forced to play in English. Isn't it user-unfriendly?

Doesn't bundling your csf with the mod do the same? (overwrite it?)

Hmm fair point Vapula... But isn't online in English anyway so they would probably understand it?

The only real way to have a multilingual mod would be to create a csf or str for each language.

Anyone know any good translators? :p
