Requesting un-banning of personnel

Some of you know me, have known me for quite a while, whereas others of you don't. This is important to all of the forum leaders, and it is their involvement in this discussion I need.
I warn you, this stems directly from the CNCG vs Cannis argument.
You might have known that YR: Retaliation has been suffocating from lack of work for a while. Turn-A Gamer is thinking about removing it from his site, and he has granted me permission to put it up on mine. However, he is the key founder of the mod, but because so many people (including him, me, and some other celebrities) acted immaturely, he cannot visit here at all. Now, I know that most of you would be predisposed to say no to this, and I cannot blame you. However, he has given me his word and his bond that he will "play nice" so to speak, if he is allowed back in.
Please let me know what you think, and how you feel, and PLEASE, if you do vote yes or no, say why and state your reasons. Don't let this degenerate into a spam-war. This is important to me, and if you look hard enough, to all of you.

The whole CNCG-CGEN thing is obsolete and those who keep it up should grow up.
The normal rules would apply to him which means he'll have to behave like the rest of us.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Is it still going on?
Is there any reason to stop going on with it?
Should we just forget about it?
Should we let him in?
Yes.

I like his work and I respect him for that.
But if it was a revora situation then he would probably say no.
Also the fact the C-GEN still has an black list of basically every CNCG member leaves a lot of to be desired.
I say its principle, once banned always ban.
Life is life.
I've been hearing that CGEN was pretty inactive (my own personal issues in an attempt to reconcile with Cannis have failed) so I don't see why the group should be so happy and welcoming.

All he has to do is sign up, he was never banned at the guild, we just deleted his account.
Started March 2003, finally died down about a year laterWas it a long time ago?
No but from what i've seen idiots still mention it everywhereIs it still going on?
Should we just forget about it?
Most of us forgot about it a few months after it happened.

Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.

Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

I never thought I would ever suggest this, but maybe its time relations between CGEN and Rev (Which the Guild was absorbed into) were fixed. Try and affailiatte and negotiate the unbanning of Guild members now the whole ordeal is over. It would serve CGEN well to allow key Guild members back and it would serve Revora as we can further plug our mods. Its a balanced and equal trade off.
Well, we'll need a contact preferably someone known/respected by both forums.
MG has access to C-Gen AFAIK, but letting an actual member of the staff (which a Senator is supposed to be..) make first contact might work contra-productive.
Rattuskid is known at C-Gen and most ppl here know him from Sleiphnir's and/or Derelict. Perhaps we can ask Rattus to do some recon amongst staff from C-Gen.
From Cannis his point of view it's safe to assume he won't be sending loveletters this way or propose french kisses, but perhaps even he will admit that friendlier relations between the two of us will benefit both.
Edit:We can also contact Katmandu. She has an account at SSF, but more important she knows Cannis in RL.

There are some flaws in your request:
1) Affiliate? Cannis wants distance from us.
2) Negotiate unbanning of the Guild members? You cannot order Cannis to do anything at his home. He's just like Aircraft Killer with these things. This kind of negotiation is very hard, if not impossible and you would need to convince him that you are not ordering/forcing/telling him what to do/etc at his own home. Everything must come from his free will... and it's hard to get this...
3) Cannis has no interest on the guild people at all.
4) Sounds ballanced for us, but it doesn't sounds ballanced for Cannis.
5) Previous attempts to sort/re-affiliate has only added more people into the Roguey's Gallery and added more fuel to the feud.

The solution is to keep things as it is: Neutrality. If you want to check Mooman's and DCoder stuff, create an account with a different name and put some random email (you don't need to validate it). Write your password somewhere, so in case you forget, you'll have it. And, the most important thing: NEVER, I mean NEVER post at Second Helpings. And also, avoid posting at BBQ Grill and Politics forum, since your chances of getting banned or llamafielded are very high there.
