The staff group and passwords would be my idea, that would make it so that only mod team members can see them, and they still need the password to access them. Otherwise, just leave it as is, and put up with incursions and such.

I don't think it's a good idea to have everyone in a mod team able to see staff forums.
I do however think it would be a good idea to have a staff group and password the forums aswell.

Password protected forums are proving ineffective.
It might be time to share and care. Each project could have a staff forum to which only members of the team forum could see. The problem is ever project can see into another projects team forum. This might be happy families... or it could create loads of distrust.
Some comments from Network Staff before i move it to the hostees forum would be nice.

hmm... I dunno, I think I can trust most of the staff peoples of ori, but I'm worried about stuff like leakage. not for c&C Central, that isn't an issue, but like me reading protected forums, and leaking something that if I had payed more attention to what was being said clearly states *TOP SECRET - UNTIL WE SAY SO* or someone else doing so.
