Thats actually a nice start. Try looking at existing westwood SHPs on how things sort of slide out of the ground.

20 seconds or not.. i like your obelisk, though it could use some work.. if you add a few crates on the base and make the red part yuri brick walled except for a smal point it would really own

Though I love the image. I'm afraid that animation will be impossible ingame? Transperancy etc.
