well people still die, if its drink they are in the car and crash, same with cannibis or they stagger onto the streets and THUMP ...
also this yob culture ...
basically society sucks
It would be the same result as drunks. Thing is less money would be spent "repairing" drunk people in the NHS. There are no recorded fatalities in britain as far as i know for cannabis. Where with alcohol, there are hundreds if not thousands. Its logic. How can you have alcohol legalised and not cannabis its safer.

Studies that I've seen say that drivers who are under the influence of cannbis tend to be safer drivers, at least in relation to drunk drivers. It has a very different influence on the brain. They do not tend to engage in reckless behaviors, and generally are a bit more mellow, and drive more slowly. Drunk drivers tend to drive recklessly fast, tailgate others, and are generally very dangerous.well people still die, if its drink they are in the car and crash, same with cannibis or they stagger onto the streets and THUMP ...

If Cannabis replaced alcohol, there would be a lot less trouble on the streets.

Source here I make no claims about validity, as I haven't found the actual study.Mann et al. (14) found abusers of stimulants (primarily cocaine) had collision rates about 2-3 times what would be expected, while the collision rates of cannabis abusers appeared to be about the same as that observed for the general population.

I'm with Hybrid, legalize it, it's no more dangerous than the stuff that's already legal, but you have to outlaw driving under the influence of it...

Almost everyone who smokes tobacco smokes cannabis anyway.
On my entire street I know for a fact that half of them do it.
Besides, it wouldn't affect me if every drug on the planet was legal, as I wouldn't be the ones to take it. None of my business what people put in their bodies, so long as they don't try to give it to my future children, or burgle my house for it. I really couldn't care less
Edit: Though I do agree they should not do drugs and drive. That puts other people at risk and so no, I don't think they should do that. In their own home...fine. Be it cannabis, LSD, crack or whatever. They're not hurting anybody else. But on the road, they should not be under any drug/alcohol influence.

I've heard much talk about Cannibis has a positive effect on driving. The driver is mellow and thus (s)he can pay attention. Opposite effect of Alcohol.
