me thinks it would be a more strategic game if there were other ways of getting money or stoping your oppponents money such as

- a 5k upgrade taht needs a 3 or 5 star general promotion to be reaserched that makes oil derriks produce an extra $10

- some kind of unit with the hacker building disable

hmm what would make a building/structure become 'disabled' or bring the people inside out on the streets in real life?

Personally I think the best idea is to have oil derricks near the base (i.e. the group of 4) that have a limited amount of funds, i.e. they work like supply docks but have the derrick model, and you collect funds from it... then the other derricks on the map all generate cash at regular intervals.

The regular interval ones would be Indestructible . The 'supply docks' would offload at the command centre, meaning you kill the enemy funds if you kill the cc.

The other alternatave is to take the 'remove the resource fiddling aspect' and make all derricks constantly supply cash and be Indestructible. That way you'd have to capture the opponents derricks to cut their funds.

we'll go with having the derricks near the base have a limited cash flow, say like 10k each?

and the rest in the danger zone of the map have unlimited supply..

maybe cash bounty but not for all factions.. Orks could use this maybe as an upgrade or something, but nothing's decided yet..

The imperials could have something like a taxation center (yes i got that from IA mod) because they seem like those kinds of people. The tau could have some kind of thing were they steal from the enemy to get funds, then the Ultras could have a big drill that makes minerals into money.

you have to capture oil derricks for cash, I think it's in the FAQ :lol:
