Daz is right, you need some constructive criticism or your creations can turn out to be crap or close to it. So it's very important. :)

There's no need for that Mongoose.
He's providing constructive criticism, and he's someone who knows what he's doing.

in case the creator of those wallpapers does not visit the deezire forums...

nice, but the tracers in the second wallpaper need to be more intense/bright as compared to the background(sun) actually you wont see the tracers at all(with the sun behind), and blur them out more as they get closer to the camera(and perhaps make them less yellow, since everything else is so desaturated)

the first pic has some perspective errors, did you render the scene as a whole?

also, there is FAR TOO MUCH smoke coming from the diving plane in the second pic, if it's diving, it should be coming out quick, and be left behind quick, there wouldnt be time to spew a whole cloud of smoke behind it, it looks as if the plane is slowly floating down to earth, and also, the smoke is coming out from the wrong place, it should be the engine, and try to add battle damage to it

lighting is a little muted too, planes seem a little too dark

;

remove the motion blur on the first plane on that last pic, and lower it on the one behind, from a photography point of view, it's a rather bad shot, are you trying to capture the planes or the sky? so i suggest lowering motion blur on planes and give the sky a little of it, make it seem like the camera is focusing on and chasing the lead plane

Don't say that mongoose, it is good advice.

He is pointing out the minor faults, because there are no major ones.

Also, on the 3rd one, It was not finished, they were going to lower the background, as the perspective was all wrong.

There was no need for that man, Godwin is a great artist and his advice could help you in getting better quality results.

Depends if your after advice comments.

I have a 'Crafty Tricks of War' topic and a 'Crafty Coding of Mods' (hidden) topic. In one i want people to enjoy the screenshots, in the other i'm after help & advice.

Godwin posts advice for alot of things, when the creator may only want people to enjoy them. Mongoose may have been looking from an enjoyment only angle (not that this excuses the insalt he made {goes to warn}).

hi im widowmaker, im the creator of the wallpapers!

first of all ... thx for your criticism, cuz there r really some BIG mistakes in my pictures!

first of all i gotta say that i don't made 'em to go public ... that was the idea of our members cuz they liked 'em so much ;) ...
it was deep night while i were makeing 'em, so there r really alot of mistakes ... the gunfire in the BF109 it totaly wrong cuz the MG's of a BF109 r not placed in the wings ;) ...

did you render the scene as a whole?

i just take some quick renders of the planes, and put them together in photoshop, all the effects r made in photoshop... the perspective errors happend cuz i render every plane by itself on a other PC , for me it was ok if they have nearly the right perspective ... cuz i just wanna test what i can do with 'em  ...

there is FAR TOO MUCH smoke coming from the diving plane in the second pic

very true , also the speed is wrong ... but it looks cool :D ...

the smoke is coming out from the wrong place, it should be the engine,

why should it comes out of the engine ??? i would say it should comes out of the engine when something is wrong with it or the engine were hit! but nothing on the pic tells u that the enginge were hit ;) it just burns in the middle out of a big hole ...

lighting is a little muted too, planes seem a little too dark

well... i don't think so, cuz the wohle picture was supposed to be a more dark and dusty one...

remove the motion blur on the first plane on that last pic, and lower it on the one behind, from a photography point of view, it's a rather bad shot, are you trying to capture the planes or the sky? so i suggest lowering motion blur on planes and give the sky a little of it, make it seem like the camera is focusing on and chasing the lead plane

this is very true, but like i said, this was my first picture and just a test what i can do when i put the renderpics on a nice background... i were just playing around with some effects...

actually you wont see the tracers at all(with the sun behind)

very true ... well but u can't the 'em with the sun behind, so why should u see 'em on the picture ?

and the lastone goes to mongoose ...

whats this trying to prvove. no one looks at it like it was a porno like you do. nor do they take that much attinon in it. your just one boring person.

dude ... everyone can say what he thinks about my work, and from a professional viewpoint the r a hell of alot mistakes in my wallpapers ... also i look on other pics on the same way, i think everyone who do alot with that stuff will look at pictures like that ... he doesn't say that the wallpapers r shitty , he just say what i can do to get a higher quality result ...

so thankz again for your constructive criticism, i like it when people know what they talkin about ... and trust me i can do it better ;)
