Em no, you saved our arse a bit WW2 we are saving your arse in WW3 (I.E now) how the fuck do you need to bail us out? We are a superpower we built the world, I think we can handle one event.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I can agree with most of this statement. The Brits did redefine the word empire. Though I don't see any WWIII but again we are talking about statments from Chem Ali AND Koma, so my expectations of logic are pretty low.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You support Bush therefore your logic low and koma your wrong we were winning WW1 before 1917, if you were in Iraq without us then you would have lost more men controling the South.

Speaking of Bush the dum arse fell off a bike and hit a policemen, poor policemen.

I'm sure, like every other fucking thing,  You brits will fuck it up beyond all recognition, and beg the Americans to bail you out YET AGAIN.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Ho he ha hoo hoo. You wish. Then again i'd rather america had the foreigners. I have nothing against them but its just the swarm of millions of people rushing to an already crowded city to watch people run up and down a track or throw long sticks and make money from it.

Ok tom you can go to the BNP party conference then,

You mean your not already there?

Though I don't see any WWIII but again we are talking about statments from

WW3 would end the country rule of american power and bring rule of something else, but we'll have to wait and see what happens in the next 20 years or sooner to really know whats going on.

I never paid much attention to them before the one in Sydney,

I never pay attention to it. Seeing people run up and down really doesn't interest me o_0

Ali to the untrained eye it looked like an accident, but to the person that understand the situation we know it was an assasination attempt. Bush knows something about that policement that we don't, lets just hope its not too late :)

Erm... It was a tie until the Germans could pull their troops out of Russia, after which they were superior on the western front. It was actually indeedly kinda maybe due to the Americans that WWI ended like it did.

On topic, I don't care too much about the Olympics, but I do always like to watch the games were Holland has a chance to win (like swimming). Winter games are cooler (hehe, that's double) though, because they involve ice-skating.

Doesn't matter who has most troops if both sides are in trenches.

The British invention of the tank gave us the upper hand, but the Germans soon learned to blow the tracks off with grenades, a tactic that still works to this day.

Anyway, I actually don't think equestrian events should be part of the games. Because it's the rider who gets the medal when the horse does all the work.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Lol, do you know how much bloody work goes into this on the rider's part? It isn't just sitting on the horse and letting it carry you around, as is the common view ... to be at that level the rider needs to be super fit, and therefore needs to train just as much as the horse. Not to mention all the general horse care that goes on behind the scenes.

Anyway, I don't think horses would appreciate medals that much.

When was the last time you saw a fat horse rider? Admittedly for obvious reasons, but still....

Sari, may I ask, are you female?

Yes, she is.

But still...why don't you get the rider to jump the fences, instead of forcing the horsey to do all the work? :p Now THAT would be funny to watch.

Last time I checked. Are you asking me this because I like the fluffy ponies? :p

Haha, yeh ... that would be funny. :ninja: But then it wouldn't be an equestrian sport ... it would just be hurdling/high-jumping. Lol. ^-^

Well equestrian sports tend to be more of a female pursuit. You lost all your femininity with the bands you listen to though:p but each to his/her own.

Haha, sorry ... only jus' remembered about this thread. So I'm gonna drag it all the way back to the top with my pointless response.

Actually, there are more men involved when it comes to equestrian sports. I put this down to the fact that blokes are more competitive, and I guess just riding around on your old nag isn't manly enough. :D But that's still weird, as I would have thought it would've been bloody painful for men to go horse riding. o.O Even more so when you're jumping over things etc. But anyway, moving along.

How is my music taste unfeminine? I hope you're not suggesting I ought to listen to crap like Britney Spears or Girls Aloud ... I may have to curse you. :D

Of course not. But... Cradle of Filth? The name alone...

I happen to be an indie man myself, if you wish to return the insults, by the way.

I'm really looking foreward to it, if people like koma are so inclined to piss on every bonfire they find it's no wonder we have so many problems these days...

I doubt i'll drag my arse down south to watch anything, but I'll definately be watching on TV  hopefully we'll have a morale boost and perform better in the 2014 world cup (assuming we own in the olympics..)

Don't Worry Cal im in the process to convert Sari but mind you Kal doesn't like what i like so that's obviously be wrong.

As for the Yanks bailing us out again. That's a load of bull. For a small country we are very strong since we survived 80% of WW2 without your bloody help. You only help bring the end of the war nearer faster.

Now Back On Topic:

I look forward to the Next Olympics. Though (like Sari said) its gunna be scary that im gunna 25/26 when it does happen

Tell me when is the next Paralympics on? I've forgotten.
