How do i get the sound to work in Xp, I got the patch to play on Xp but I cant get the sound working.

compatability mode?

Also is it really nessecary to post everything in red?

I tried the copat mode but it still don't work, And I feel it completly nessasary to post everything in red because it is the color of my favoriate faction in C&C. The Sound Works kinda but i can only listen to the music because the unit voices are "jumpy" :p

Umm, this idn't entirly about RA but i was wondering while modding how do I add a Unit/Structure?

You can't do that in RA as far as I know. You can change a unit's or building's behaviour and weapon, but you can't alter the way they look, and you can't add a unit or building.

So, in RA2 can you add units or Bulidings or can you only change the existing ones? :p

In RA2 you can add units and buildings. Check the RA2 tutorial forum for a tutorial on adding units or buildings. Most easy to start with is cloning a unit, and then change it to what you want (see also this tutorial on CNC Depot).

Yes, you can. On YRarg for example there are some tutorials. I don't know whether it'll work though, since I've never tried this..

You can alter an existing side to make way for a new one. Be warned, if you start using a different MCV for that new side (eg, a GDI side takes over Korean slot, but Allied sides with Allied MCV still exists), then Short Game will be rendered impossible.

Also, take a look in the RA2/YR editing section of this forum, under the Modlist. There you will find pd's Rock The Battlefield patch which adds the ability to make totally new sides, and should in theory get around the MCV bug.

Yes Rock Patch enables fourth side but currently there are issues regarding civilian paradrop (uses soviet) fourthdisguise (no tag) and EVA but apart from that yes it basically rocks.

Also RA1 u can only replace or enable unused units.
