Also, take a look in the RA2/YR editing section of this forum, under the Modlist. There you will find pd's Rock The Battlefield patch which adds the ability to make totally new sides, and should in theory get around the MCV bug.

You can alter an existing side to make way for a new one. Be warned, if you start using a different MCV for that new side (eg, a GDI side takes over Korean slot, but Allied sides with Allied MCV still exists), then Short Game will be rendered impossible.
Also, take a look in the RA2/YR editing section of this forum, under the Modlist. There you will find pd's Rock The Battlefield patch which adds the ability to make totally new sides, and should in theory get around the MCV bug.
Yes Rock Patch enables fourth side but currently there are issues regarding civilian paradrop (uses soviet) fourthdisguise (no tag) and EVA but apart from that yes it basically rocks.
Also RA1 u can only replace or enable unused units.
