Maybe it just needs time, not everyone checks all topics every day. I think this avatar looks better than the other one. You're not a Half-Life fan by any chance ?
Speaking of that, everytime I wear my HL2 T-shirt my mom keeps telling me how she likes the 'lambda upside down' lol.

I care! Those are really nice ... I especially like the banner one. Really good colours. Gah, wish I could do that! I've only got PSP ... which is great, and I love it, but Photoshop seems to be just a bit better ... I dunno, your opinion? Is it worth me getting it when I already have PSP?

No do not listen to that Heathen! PSP is good if you know how to use all of its functions.

Take Lee for instance. He did did both of my banners (as well as other things) on PSP. You can do alot of things if someone teaches you.

For instance i know i can learn alot about website building from you Sari. Though you may not think it, you are good

Haha, yes - but I only use it for digitally colouring my artwork, and I've seen a lot of artists acheive great effects with Paintshop. Of course, this may be more down to actual talent than what kind of program you use, but there you go.

Anyways, PS is a much more powerful tool. I do not know of ANY professional graphics artists that use PSP. Plus, PS has a much more appealing user interface.

Yer, Photoshop is more powerful and has more tools, but not lots more, if your a beginer then use PSP, its much easier and is layed out better, but when you feel like it, change to PS. Unfortunately i have used PSP for too long now and im used to it but it can still do most stuff Photoshop can do, you just have to work harder lol.

Kinda has the same problem as your last pictures - the colors of the background and that of the text are so similar, that some parts of the text are hard to read.

Other than the cheesy wind effect on the text, i do like it. You could apply some grunge brushes on the mask of the text though, a faint brush with low opacity so that you dont erase too much of it, and it will still be legible. Also id do the glow surrounding the text a bit more permanent so that you can see the entirety of it, not just where the red is.

Yes Prime, of course you're right.

Have to agree with ComradeJ, the text/background colours are a li'l too similar ... but other than that, I likes! Don't change the background colour, that's pretty. Maybe you could illuminate the text slightly, if you want to keep it black?

Similarly, this applies here, of course you'd always want to strive for better "equipment" in a sense, and PS is definitely superior to PSP, but if you're shit at what you're do, and have no interest at learning and improving, then there's no point having the latest, biggest, fastest things.
