@ Allied G:
Why are you so bitchy lately? You got PMS or something? Maybe you need to get that sand out of your vagina.
Can't say I found that funny.
I think this topic has gone a bit off-topic. If you want to talk about the US, go to the House of Parliament forum. This was about posting and spelling, not about the US. Now can we please stop the flaming?
One more thing:
Hey where are you from because it does sound like you are getting pissed off and you better not hate US or you will hate freedom.
If you really believe that one can be free living in the US, you're wrong. They claim freedom of speech, but as soon as you say anything negative about the president, they get really angry. I call that freedom of speech, as long as you agree with them. I believe the government actually forbade 9/11 (or banned it from the cinemas or so). It's no freedom when the government decides for you what is wrong to watch in their eyes, or when you are not allowed to freely speak about your negative opinion on the government.
Okay, that was enough off-topic, back on topic, I feel that people should write in a way that others here can understand it. Little mistakes do not matter, as long as the message is still understood. I myself know most if not all the rules you wrote about, but that doesn't mean I never make mistakes (it's usually about other stuff). I'm not from an English speaking country, some English and American people say that my English is decent. I think it's okay to have typos sometimes, as long as it doesn't happen too often (or else it'll get annoying). If a member knows that he makes a lot of typos, re-read your message before posting. (the preview post button isn't there for nothing
). I re-read every message I post before posting, therefore reducing the amout of typos to a minimum. The speed of typing doesn't really matter, this is a forum, so you can take your time posting a message (I mean we won't get angry or so if it takes some more minutes).
Abbreviations like LOL, lol, rofl etc should be kept, just don't use them lots of times in your message.
Who honestly laughs out loud at something they see online every single time they say 'lol'? People 'lol' at everything now. It's lost its power.
When I type LOL, I am laughing. lol is a little less strong IMO, but it brings a smile on my face. So if I were ever to use lot's of LOLs, you know I'm having fun. I only say LOL when I'm laughing, I'm not saying it because everyone does that. It might sound crazy, but I'm really laughing out loud after hearing a certain joke, seeing a funny picture or have a fun conversation.
Now can anyone tell me why it is that everytime I plan on writing a reply with 2 sentences I end up with 25 sentences
?
