Living in Washington DC does have it's benefits, this internet connection I have through my cable conncetion broadband it outstanding for a consumer level.

And we don't pay anything for it cause my wife is a property manager. Behold..........

Not bad for a consumer, faster than a T1

(EDIT) Better?

That seems counterintuitive. Techinically it takes less effort to hold a phone to your ear than it does to drive to your local EB Games and purchase another copy. Wow, I am a huge pain in the ass sometimes. :D

If you're running on Windows, hover your cursor over the little connection icon by the clock. You can also go to your connection status window.

Bah, those with such amazing connections are stuck in such aboundance, they cannot feel hope for better.

We are lucky with our low or reasonnable connections, because we can have hope, and in achievement of that hope, pleasure and happyness... :D

Wow, and I used to have dial-up with 8 kB/s max until 2 months ago. Now I have 50 kB/s max, usually it's 40. But I'm happy with it, it's the best I can get at my place (we don't have TV cable either), and it's faster than dial-up so I'm definately not complaining. Besides, I can be online now all day without my dad going nuts over the bill ;).

Test says:
Speed 352.6 kilobits per second
Communications 352.6 kilobits per second
Storage 43 kilobytes per second
1MB file download 23.8 seconds
Subjective rating Not bad
