Okay now that that's somehow done or going further... should I code the particle cannon for the battle bases on the next "pong" ?

When you have the code, I'll call it "ping", when I have it it's "pong" ^_^

I started another college assignment today and have not had time to download it.
If you have time please fix/add the Ionic Uplink (Blue particle cannon) and Star Light (red particle cannon).

Sweet :p

When i get home i'll be working on this again, so don't add anything else to your ping.

With these complex problems solved i'll make some screenshots and maybe open the site (which has been sitting on my hard disk for the last 2 months).

LOL! You remind me of myself... I've worked with zealot on Emperor Mod for ~1 year, then quickly decided to do Speed Pursuit, finished that 40%, then started Waves of Cornflakes which is done, then Beasts versus Humans which is also done but not uploaded, next is Blitzgreek ( :p ) and then we're going to return to the original ones..

Anyway this mod looks and feels great already in these stages!

I don't think it does. None of the units have any new weapons or upgrades, which was the main plan.

Though, i have the foresight to know how much better this will be :p

I was actually talking more about the "feel" of it - the cogs for example or the fact that the units have a lot of health points so battles last longer.... and BTW the lazer turret is new isn't it?

Finally tryed the new mutator code!
Works perfect :)

Could you have given the Ambasidor Blob a more damaging weapon? :ermm:

I'll now go through a tweeking this and give it nice looking art.

Yes its a bit strong but I thought I'd make it obvious that it does a bit o' damage...

Transition states should work for making it look nice - have never really messed with them but from what I can see they're pretty simple.. but there are probably more effective methods than that

Another question with EMP.

Is there any way to make a simple EMP hand grenade or a simple EMP missile?
If there's no way to make them, or it's too hard- i'd replace all the EMP technology with Tesla.

Should i go for EMP or Tesla, from an ease of coding point of view?

I'll go with Tesla, saves alot of time.

I'm thinking that having both the Inc and Stars have the same super weapon is boring. Also, people will ask "How did the Stars get a lazer into space if thay can't even get one on a tank?", which is a valid point.

Satellite Rain:
The Stars have many satellites hidden in orbit around Isis. These collect space dust and converts them into cannon balls to be fired down onto the planet.

Sounds like a weapon the Stars would use.

The China Artillery would work well for this.
Can the China Artillery specail weapon be given a count-down timer?
Can the China Artillery specail weapon be removed from the Radar (so that it looks like it falls from space, instead of being fired from out of the map)?

Can i speed up the time it takes to reach the target?
The Ionic Uplink is instant and movable, giving the user the power to pick off incomming armys. The same can not be done with the Satellite Rain, giving Stars a disadvantage.
If theres no way of making it more useful, i'll trun the timer down, so the Stars have more chanses to try and hit.

It's soo obvious that you think it's too good to be true and start having doubts :ermm:

This has philosophical weight, but anyway this isn't a philo lesson, you'd have to change the speed of the ChinaArtilleryBarrageCannonLocomotor..
