In terms of what I drink, though, it's apparently a lot more than Puppeteer. I could have guessed that. I would say I average about 6 or 7 pints on a usual drinking night, which would be once to twice a week (occasionally three times, but rarely). My doctor says that's quite a lot, but it really doesn't feel like that much. Meh. Once it stops being fun, I'll stop drinking. Same for everything, in fact. That's why I stopped smoking, and that's gone pretty well.

Yeah a lot more than me. Going to a pub/social drinks event, 2 or 3 pints is fine for me. Either that or some whisky/MerlotFredius and, indeed, Puppeteer: going out and getting smashed does not make you an alcoholic. What makes you an alcoholic is constant drinking throughout every day. It's not pretty. Then again, neither is getting smashed most of the time. Or possibly all of the time, but you're smashed enough that it doesn't matter. Anyway, proper alcoholics are not to be taken lightly, is the point I'm making here.

Tonight I went to a drinks event, only had a double G&T and JD, decided not to drink more or go to the club. I fancy an early night (ie. before 2am...)
I am not a big drinker/the 'drinking type'. I rarely go to predrinks/clubs. </sad>

The people I used to work with were definitely drunks they'd at minimum 4 times a week and usually to excess.
Some even drank while working.
I always suspected the boss kept them because working at a pub they would usually drink at his pubs so he'd usually get half is money back every week.
I rarely drink these days and didn't drink anything for 8 years before the last year, it's usually cheap dessert wines for me though.

I enjoy getting drunk and become a source of entertainment (the odd smart sentence), but I hate going out.
If it's a home party, meaning no bar or "DUM DUM DUM DUM DRRRRUM" music, I'll happily come!
I'm still shy and I hate to dance!

I like talking. I can't talk with that kinda music on.
@Matias:
It's unfair to judge, but he does only drink Vodka (or is Wodka a special type?) and like "DUM DUM DUM DUM DRRRRUM", so maybe he does just that..

Well according to google translate you mean sanding
Haha, I don't think its fun to do that in a party
Schuren? Isn't that what slutty women do? You know, grinding their asses against the alpha male's crotch?
That, and I'm the alpha male ofcourse , but its just typical Amsterdam (maybe in aother city's too?). I think it's a dance for kids under 21, even 12-13 years old kids do that, which I think it's to young to do such things .
I don't acctually mind a little "DUM DUM DUM DUM DRRRRUM", but I have to be in the very odd mood, and listen to it myself.

Yeah you're right, I hate the fact that its very hard to talk in such party's.
And yes I meant Vodka, just don't know how to spell that in Latin letters .

When I married my ex-wife(from Lithuania) they changed her passport to Edvards instead of Edwards because there was no such letter as "W."
Yet V was pronounced as a W.

Also, apparently you guys think I drink too much? Would it help if I mentioned that it's almost always in controlled settings such as my house/my local pub? Also, I do not subscribe to the view that alcohol is an excuse for behaving like a dickhead, which consequently seems to mean I don't act like a dickhead. It's amazing how that works. Sooner or later I'll actually find a picture of what I look like now. Nobody's taken any photos of me since I got my hair cut short in June.
