I had no trouble whatsoever installing CO on my comp (yes I run xp)... If you give me a minute I'll place my CD in the D:\ Drive and check...

ok, just run setup.exe and type in the correct dir were C&C is located... most likely C:\WESTWOOD\C&C95\ but you should check anyway.

Good luck

hmm... do you have the TD patch? If not you can get it at C&C Central. I'm running out of ideas on how to help you, I have about 3 games that refuse to work on my comp, if I find any breakthrough in getting them to work I'll post it up.

It's basicaly new maps and a menu change to get to the maps. So, if you try extracting the files from the CD (maybe even the Mix files too) it might work.

You should install both C&C and C&C CO from the same CD drive (the first). Multiple drives weren't that common back then, so it messes up with that.

but you may be able to copy files from the CD to your HD, but I don't konw if it will work, some programs require an installation to work at all. You should try it though, but make sure you have a backup folder with all your TD stuff.

I figured out how to get it to work, you must have the game disc in the MASTER cd drive, which is usually the D: drive. It worked me, trust me.
