I think i got this down, just need some answers to some stuff.

Will the sphere need an exit ramp?

Experiment No1

Well,
it's huge,
half the floor isn't visble (underground),
part of the orig CC is left
and the texture didn't work.

Command Core
The Command Core is shot out of Command Carriers at hi speed at a planets serface. It's black tilled outer shell protects it from a plants atmosphere on entary.
When the Command Core lands a small port hole opens and releases 1 builder suited to the enviroment, the hole then closes and all communication is remote.


No. But it will need something that looks like a port hole big enough for a dozer to just fit through, but that can be doon with the skin.

All new dozers will be made at the war factory, so the Command Core is starting point - only supposed to make the 1 first dozer, after that it's just a blog.

Humm, as there will only ever be one of these, there is no need for it to me small. I like the current size.
The old cc is coded to be there (looks at Jim).

Thanks god for that, saves me trial and erroring to get the right size.

The old bits are there because I didn't tell them not to be, i just replaced the main model's name with "sphere".

Before you do to much more could you show a skinned version, so i can see it's depth better.

It's kinda a crappy skin but there you go.

Looks cool, but it's too big. Can you make is smaller by 20% ?

Still feels a bit big, but if you do the math - size of dozer inside it, radar and satalite uplink, dozer enviroment customisation, life support and self powerd - it looks the correct size. This makes me feel the crater is too big, but it's a huge ball thats been shot from space, so it's going to make a mark.

So.. it's perfect :)

After we decide where were going to put all these files you can upload it and i'll re-skin it.

Thats a pretty easy fix as i can have any building be there when the game starts, or any unit for that matter.

Like with the first dozer, Its not made by the CC, It's just starts there :D

can have up to 10 units starting when you start up the game, not sure on how many buildings, those are coded in and easily changed though :)

well you only get one (as far as i know) and you start with it so there is no need for a constuction for it :)

The structure doesn't do anything.
It just sits there once the first dozer has come out.

Command Core
Command Cores are mass produced to standard on the 2nd moon of Balon for use in Command Carriers.

When the Command Core lands a small port hole opens and releases 1 builder suited to the enviroment, the hole then closes and all communication is remote.


All new builders will be made at the war factory, so the Command Core is a starting point - only supposed to make the 1 first builder, after that it's a remote command center.


The Ticks already own the desert and are protecting it. An easy way to take over a whole desert is to make many bases inside it all at once, not slowly battle your way in - If thay did that the Red Oil would all be gone before thay got in.
