Some websites are talking about the possibility of anywhere between 500- 50 000 dead... Main worry is if the Levees around New Orleans fail.
So, good luck~!

On a funnier note, did anyone see that one idiot reporter on CNN? He got picked up off his feet and sent down an alleyway! He's going to be sore tomorrow! I guess he learned his lesson: never walk around in a Cat 4 hurricane!

All we can do is just hope for the best
"Jesus didn't resurrect. He respawned."
"I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me saying "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals."

Yes, good luck too anyone down there. You're gonna have quite a big mess to clean up. I do hope there were little or no casualties. (although that's unlikely... )

Basically, the Levees around New Orleans are failing one by one... They are expecting 9 feet of water on Charles Street which is the main street of downtown New Orleans by tomorrow morning.
Heres a link to one of the New Orleans news stations.

Yeah, the Superdome.
We got Katrina today, but it was only a couple thunderstorms when it reached us.
Have you seen what's happening there, though? It's like they've been blasted into the stone age with people looting, car jackings by the Superdome, and crime all over. Even the cops are looting! And it's only a couple days after the storm! It's awful there. People are saying they would've been better off getting hit by a tactical nuke instead! The one thing the looters really want are guns. Police officers trying to stop the looting have been shot. It's really not pretty down there, and it will be at least a month until some form of relief can get into the city. The national guard is being deployed, but most roads into the city are flooded or unstable, and it will be a while until they can get there in force. Sooner or later there's probably going to be a declaration of martial law to help control the crime, but until then it is total chaos. I pray for anyone who lives there, I really do. And I feel bad for some people who made it out, since what's left of they're houses have probably been looted. It's really bad, and it's going to get worse before it get's better.

Bush is an Arogant asshole, the only time he goes out personally to see the damage, it's because it will help his election and since he can't be elected anymore there's no point for him to check out the damage.
aww thx vangaurd
nice to see someone who thinks of bush the same way i do
