I want a President that doesn't think Africa is a country, I want one that knows it's a Continent.

What is your big problem with Bush? Most of the bad stuff everyone says is the Democrats pointing out problems he has no control over!

Well, I wouldn't go as far as saying he's a pussy. But I would say he has got a little starightening out to do with his administration. I don't support him on 100% of his descisions, but I do support Iraq and Afghanistan.

oh, wait. Yes he is. He is a puppet to Cheney and Rumsfeld.

He thought that if he got Saddam, people will like him.

He may be a nice guy, but he is still an idiot. He has jacked up the debt, and he has also gotten us in two wars.

His plan for Social Security will destroy the value of the Dollar.

The reason we are in Iraq is because we need to show all of the guys over there who religiously hate us that they can't get away with fighting the USA. We went over there to disarm them before, only we pulled out. Look what happened. Saddam got back in power and started threatening to use chemical weapons. If we leave now, someone else is gonna take the power.

Who knows what Kerry would have done. He contradicted just about everything he's done.

*votes against decent body armor in Iraq*
"Our soldiers still don't have proper body armor in Iraq"

*openly against the right to carry a gun*
"I will support the public ownership of guns."

Bush: There will NOT be a draft.

Kerry: At this time, I do not support a draft.

The war in Iraq is over. The only thing left there is a few crazy people who still believe in Saddam for whatever reason. There is no organization, and we are over there now basically as policemen. If Kerry were elected, he probably would have pulled us out right away. That would show all of the other dictators that if we go in, all they have to do is lay low for a while and wait for us to leave. Besides, we need to make sure the new government is set up smoothly.

Also, if any neighboring countries decided to attack us, they are now within unassisted flight range of the world's most powerful air force.

Then these people are not looking at the big picture. In the short term, sure, things might be a bit less expensive. In the long term, it is a lot easier to build long-range ballistic missiles if soldiers from the target country are not in your country. If a country decided to build ICBMs, tehy could have working missiles in five years. Add the possibility of stealing nukes from Russia for the warheads and tell me we shouldn't be over there fighting people who hate us and believe that if they die fighting us they will be saved in the afterlife or whatever.

If there is a nuclear war, ever, it won't be with some major power. They know we have enough nukes to wipe them off the planet no matter what they do. It will be with these idiots who have no reason to live except wipe us out.

Exactly, link. And Karl, link and I are from the US (I think) and we support Bush. Kerry was a pussy, as I said in another post, and he probably would have pulled out. That would just send Iraq into anarchy, and that's something we couldn't afford. Even if there were no WMD, it was time for Sadaam to go.

New Orleans looks like it's getting (a little) better. FOX News was supposed to be sending busses to get some people out, don't know how they did.

Those busses better have bulletproof glass, a titanium frame, and a Marine escort

Thanks for taking my side. You're one of the few poeple here who seems to know why we are over there.

Actually, no we didn't. We did ask for any possible assistance, but we didn't say "We need help, dammit!" We did expect someone to help us, and Canada has offered. It's just we didn't go begging for assistance. ;)
