I think age does not count! if you like to mod you will do it and if you do it then you learn it and if you learn it you will make it good
I am 13.3

Age might count, if you had past experience, with other graphics editing, or coding, based on what you're saying a 3 year old could mod

What?!? i doubt it my sister is 8 and shes not that smart but the smartest in her class. A 4 and 5 year old just entered kindergarten and cant spell so they couldnt. I say 16 is a good age but its possible for 12 and up. Theres those people that are like 15 and after a month trying they understand nothing at all so it depends on background and drive...

wtf ?

modding is not about the age

locked this useless topic

EDIT :for the sake of your freedom of speech allowing you to set baseless polls, i reopened this thread
modding has nothing to do with the age, its about with how much ease you use the tools
i voted Null on this poll, and im 17

F*** this poll, i'm 25, if i vote 21 25 i'll be Hasbeen in 6 months and if i vote 26+ it means my past and actual stuff is shit...
Grr i don't want to do such choices!

Just kidding, this poll doesn't mean anything hehe, Gandalf, if you were wondering if you could mod at your age or something, you sure can, only your passion and perseverance matter.

well seeing that you have to be +12 years playing the game I voted 13-14, I'm 14 myself and I see myself as talented. And I'm proud of it

Anybody can make a good mod. I started modding games when I was 10, and i'm still modding them 7 years later.

Me, 13, started modding about a month ago.

EDIT: Which proves it's not about a particular experience, but natural experience, talent, and past things you've done on the computer. Started messing around, not games, on the computer at age 2

EDIT #2: And when I say I started a month ago, I didn't mean just BFME, I meant modding in general.

Well said... Perhaps at what age does "forum etiquette" become something other than a hard-to-spell word?
