Gonna take a look at the Ai, but since i'm "only" a starting CR player i come to you folks for some help.

Post your fav. tactic/ country/ map combo here.

Mind you this is not getting an advantage when i decide to play online, but studying effective tactics also bring forth the weaknesses.

I have some ideas for improvement already, but you're the fans who know this mod inside out already while i'm only at the "beat 2 Elite ALF level" so help me out here.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

its been proper ages since i played CR but, i liked being the british because of hero wilson, get him and a few tanks and ur sorted. i played DC uprising alot , and i used to pound the resource miners etc, then bombard a point , that would do the most damage with the eurofighters and clean up with either aircraft .or tanks, with wilson to deal with infantry. defence wise, i would consist of alot of cannons tanks, etc etc realy attack is the best form of defence on that map :rolleyes:

Well the Hero units and Eurofighter are not present in the .96b beta, but it's a start thanks. Anyone else?

some artillery and spec ops combinations usually work well...soften the defenses from afar then plant bombs on whats left. ;)

In v0.95 I just turtled & used planes to take out the AI, might need a few tanks to mop things up tho (That’s generally my main tactic in any RTS)

well like mg I turtle my base with bunkers (3 or 4 is really all you need to take out a large thing of tanks) the rocket dudes work best with bunkers and make sure after your ground def is set up place your air def around youe miners but not exposed enough so that they can be killed (I ussally end up to building anyware from 20-24 air defence units (stainary one work best)

ore income is also very important

build large air force to pwn there attack force later on it the game (also maby build some helicopters early on just in cas they use long range units)

then I thing 4 artillary canns 4 long range surface to surface air missles (or icbm if availible) and any where from 12 to 20 tanks should be enough to pan 2 or 3 ai bases if you use them right (tanks protecting artillary and missle launchers but not to far in where base defences have range on you)

or once you get used to the game more just turtle your base and do whatever you want for fun ( like building 125 tanks and pawning 4 ai bases with hem lol) but mig has a good way to (especially if your america) you can pawn them wih spy+heavy bombers
