i've got a 5200 too... It works great for my needs, so the card you're getting must be pretty good, and at that price, it's ntot bad for a graphics card:P

as always though you should check the online shops like amazon and ebuyer etc

5200 is an AWFUL card. 6200 isn't particulary a very good card either. You can get an X700 (what boomer now has I believe) for the same price. Or you could go into the realms of the X800 and 6800, like what i'm looking at buying (replacing my shitty 9600).

I cant realy aford a 6800 or x800 for that matter

any way my current gfx card dosent lag on any of my games exept farcry and only on high detail, one of the mane resones i want a new gfx card is so i can play battlefield 2 and have high detail on farcry.

tell my what are the x700's like? I thik one of my friends have one of them, he says they are good for textures but they are not that power full and he wants to upgraid to some thing els

EDIT: I dont have PCI express so i cant get that x700 (at least from the shop im using)

YOu can get AGP X700s. They are the equivelent of an nvidia 6600 I would think, but if your friend says they arn't very powerful, then a 6200 can only be worse. However, if that's the limit of your budget, then go for it :p.

if the 5200 is an awful card, and I can run most high detail games quite comfortably with mine, then an x700 must be fucking insane :p

The 6200 is worth half of what you are thinking of paying btw. Should be around 45 GBP.

Why the hell do you want a 512mb 6200. If you are gonna get a card with a lot of memory, atleast make it good.
