What about to replace the v7 superweapon with an airstrike composed by SM 79? It would be more realistic than v7, so the SM 79 can be used everywhere and the use of P108b and SM 92 isn't compromized.

no...not really. Trust me on this one. As I type this I am looking at my Tank ID book (Illustrated Directory of Tanks of the World) and It states:
(Ahem)
The Cromwell was intended to be a heavy cruiser, but in actuality was about the same as the Sherman. It was armed with a 6-pounder (75mm) gun. It's armor was actualy thinner than the Sherman's (100 mm maximum for the Serman as opposed to 78 mm max for the Cromwell).
I will concede that the Firefly was a british varient of the Serman and was widely used. However, the Americans already have the Sherman as they're med. tank. I think the Cromwell, which saw action in the same numbers as the Sherman, would add a sense of uniquness to the British side.[/i]

I think we should consider the planes used for the carriers
I only know:
Ki-51 Sonia for Akagi
Ju87C for graf Zeppelin
Reggiane Re2001 for Aquila
Who knows the rest?

"I'm not retreating, I'm just fighting in another direction" (anonymous US corporal, Korea)
work is sacred...so don't go near it.

The swordfish was really quite good, since AA gunswere calibrated for faster aircraft, they often had trouble hitting the biplanes! Swordfish helped deliver the topedoes that sank the Bismarck...
The Brits actually used Corsairs on their ACs before the Americans did, because the Americans had problems getting them to land without crashing (which British forces sorted out successfully).
