I think this is the right place for this...

I took a look at my old skinning tutorial that I'd started and decided that it was fully inadequate. I'm not going to finish it. In doing so, I'd be just showing the process that creates one skin, and wouldn't really demonstrate any actual techniques. For example... in showing how to draw chainmail, I would be skipping over say, plate mail.

Instead, what I think I'll do is write a series of smaller tutorials that address various more precise aspects of skinning. Instead of a tutorial on "How to skin a Morian Orc", which would take too much time and that I'd realistically never finish, something more helpful might be "How to draw plate armour", or "Orc skins and faces". They'd be so much more useful. So, I'd like to get you people out there who wanted me to write something on this subject to give me a few suggestions on what to do first, and next, and etc. . Try to keep it something that isn't to tough to write on .

I will probably write a general tips bit though.

Oh, and the tutorials will assume that you have Photoshop, and have a basic knowledge of it. I'm not about to spend several paragraphs writing an essay on the proper process for applying a filter... or where the paintbrush is.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

If you wouldn't mind, I would really love a tutorial on doing faces. I can't make them look right for anything.

I'd be pleased to see them. And I'd allso agree with assuming the basics of PS are understood.

Faces are not my strong suit. If I do a tutorial on faces, it will be later, once I have improved my current work. But... I will do one on the techniques involved in making a Gondor shield, which is probably shiny enough. It's simple enough, so I'll have it up in a day or two.

No other suggestions?
