How do you camoflage an American building? :p I've tried everything, yet the button is always "pre-clicked". It claims that "conflicting upgrade cannot be purchased", who knows how to cancel this. If it's any help, I'm trying to camoflage the patriot system (which, if it's successful, will be a basis for a new team's defences).

Just copy all the tags from the Camo Stinger Site.

Which tags? :p Should I take the tags from the Slth-General? This would mean that it is camoflaged immediately, but this doesn't work either. What I'm doing is placing a "Module 17" in the SupW_AmericaPatriotBattery. This is:

  Behavior = StealthUpdate ModuleTag_13
    StealthDelay                = 2500 ; msec
    StealthForbiddenConditions  = ATTACKING USING_ABILITY
    MoveThresholdSpeed          = 3
    FriendlyOpacityMin          = 50.0%
    FriendlyOpacityMax          = 100.0%
    InnateStealth              = Yes
    OrderIdleEnemiesToAttackMeUponReveal  = Yes
  End

Note: I AM changing the ModuleTag to 17.
But when I open my Generals, the patriot is still there....
Is there other files (other than SuperWeaponGeneral.ini) that I need to edit? Is this affected by the fact I'm using the stealth stinger site as a stealth base?

Hmmm...Unless you missed a KindOf tag, then everything should work. Sorry.

Just wondering - what is a KindOf Tag? Also, if an .ini file has a file under Data/INI/Objects, do I have to make a folder in Data/INI?

Yes you do, I'm not really sure how to explain it but I'll post an example of one , It might be self explanatory, Maybe

KindOf = PRELOAD STRUCTURE SELECTABLE IMMOBILE FS_TECHNOLOGY GARRISONABLE_UNTIL_DESTROYED IMMUNE_TO_CAPTURE MP_COUNT_FOR_VICTORY SCORE_CREATE FS_ADVANCED_TECH

If that doesn't help you then I'll see what I can come up with

KindOfs switch certain behaviour on or off. It's sort of like collection theory. Either it is in a certain group or it's not. Either it's a vehicle or not, either it's an infantry or it's not. It just tells the game what kind of object something is, so that it can apply behaviour accordingly. KindOfs aren't mutually exclusive, so you can have any combination of KindOfs. An object can be an infantry, vehicle and structure at the same time.

Thanks, I understand now. That's one problem of many out of the way.

StealthForbiddenConditions = ATTACKING USING_ABILITY

Attacking should be wrong also, for a warfactory, not sure tough

Just look at any object that already behaves like the way you want (non-stealth general normal GLA stinger site, normal GLA rebel) and see what modules it has. You will see what module you are missing.
