Super canons for the nuke general

I decided to make new heavy nuke cannons that will be light super weapons. Damage is equal to normal nuke cannon and reload time is 1 minute. But range is unlimited and slightly higher cost and build time. Available at rank 5. Generic nuke cannons will remain as well.

Number of these cannons depend on super weapon limit. If limit is on then you can build only one. If it is off then you can build as many of them as you want.

It is not overpower because it is inferior to normal nuke cannon in many parameters. Lets compare them:

Range:
nuke cannon: long
super cannon: infinite (it is the only advantage, the rest are disadvantages)

Damage:
nuke cannon: high, bonus vs buildings
super cannon: equal to nuke cannon, NO bonus vs buildings

Reload time:
nuke cannon: 10 seconds
super cannon: 1 minute

Cost:
nuke cannon: 2000
super cannon: 2500

Build time:
nuke cannon: 20 sec
super cannon: 40 sec

Bonuses:
nuke cannon: trainable, gains bonuses from a number of upgrades
super cannon: not trainable, not upgradable

I don't really understand why we need the super nuke cannon, the Berta is powerful enough, build five and you can tear down a hole base.
Or there are also helixes with nuke detonators

i agree, i think berta should have the title because it is more powerful. berta can destroy just about any unit with its cannons and upgrading it with the ATRS is a great defence for it. :sad:

I was kidding for the title :sad: ! Berta make tremendus damage ! Near uncatchable.. But imagine a unit that can hit from the one edge of the map to the other with 400 damage !!! :) This is super... I sasid that, cause berta causes more damage, but the new cannon can hit everything on the map !!! :)

what does the nuke detonators do, i built them and never got how to use them???

i think the cannon is great and it looks amaizing.

i would like 2 c a super weapon for the super weapons general
ijn the form of a tank or somthing cause now he doesnt any thing you just have 2 wait and bomb the enemy with planes and icbm's. it would be nice to have some form of ground capabilities

The nuke detonator works like this, when the unit is destryed, you get one hell of explosion, a nuclear explosion. But when I think about that new Nuke Cannon, it musst be great keeping the enemy surplie depots under constant fire

as many as you want. just like the Stealth GLA scud launcher. it does the exact same thing and is available in Contra.03

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

instead of firing like a normal scud it fires a single ScudStorm scud. it has a quick lunch button on the side of the screen and it will drop one missle where ever you want once a minute
