Heroes not Buildable

I added their object names to PlayerTemplate, but they aren't being built, help!

Did you add them to the citadel commandset? I'm not sure if it's nessacary but it might work. Or if there's a lot of heroes, do they show up after you build some others?
Anything later then now isn't soon enough.

also, check if they have a ButtonImage, and HERO in their KindOf

I'll check and see if they appear after I build other heroes. But I'll probably end up adding them to the commandset if all else fails. and yes they have both a button image and a HERO in their KindOf

if you added them to a citadel who has more than 8 heroes, then you will have to add more heroes commandbuttons like those :

Command_GenericReviveSlotX

X being a number not already used by other buttons

hmm I have this problem to. See;

Hobbits; Merry, Pippin, Frodo and Sam is buildable in the Gondor Citadell.
But when I play as hobbits I can't build them in the Hobbit Citadell.
Even though I added the exact same thing to Buildable Heroes: in playertemplate.ini.
wierd :p

Might it be because of the folder they're in? data\ini\object\goodfaction\units\****\Merry.ini

Did you put it in Hobbit or something, the ****

Maybe you have to have it in one of the two folders already set up...

hmm the citadell uses gondor citadell commandset.
Does it have to have a commandset off it's own?

i know that HERO displays the ButtonImage at the bottom of the screen, and i never tried to make a unit buildable, so maybe ...

and thinking about it, the Witchking was buildable although it didn't have HERO in its KindOf, so yeah, it doesn't need to :p

Is your citadel commandset set defined? Does that auto repair button show up when you click it?

can you paste your modified playertemplate.ini so that we can check you have added the Heros correctly.

As well as what the heros are defined as in these fields for your own heros:

And also, I added the slots and it worked, Gondor just didn't have enough. :lol:
