Now, I'm also having problems with saving games. When I try to, the game tells me I don't have enough disk space, even though I have 8.47 GBs free.

Example 1:
Corsix dynamic arrays that store the ID's of upgraded posts. I got strange results with it so I used an AITrace to check how many posts are currently upgraded.
The first time it went all okay. Number of upgraded post 1, 2, ... 6, 7 and suddently...zero!!!
Example 2:
I had a global variable that checked the number of finished rushes. The only thing that happened with the variable in the whole program was an increment at one point. In the middle of the game the variable was suddently reset to zero from 1 which is just not possible with the code. Then I initialized the variable with 5 to go sure if the variable is reset to 0 or to the starting value. And voila, next time the variable was reset to 5 from 6.
I had strange occurances with pretty much every global variable I checked explicit and which has a changing value over time.
I drew my consequences from that. I rely only on game field data and try to avoid dynamic globals. The dynamic globals I use to check finished rushes now have a security check based on the current tier.
My theory is that Relic reacts on specific strange occurances with a complete reset of the AI scripts. Since 99% of the code is based on static or gamefield data, this has normally not much negative consequences.

About 90% of the DoW/WA games should be in the 10-30min mark. With all our variables flying around yer likely not gonna be saving and restoring properly. When you try to load a saved game recently saved under the use of our AI, the turret addons, for example, all go to Tier1 or Rocket upgrades. Can't be helped. Thats our randomizer. Yes its a shame but what to do? Fortunately, most DoW/WA games don't last so long to make this a save/restore issue.

I at least solved this problem. I reworked the post/turret upgrade methods for my control program routines. They are now based only on current gamefield data which is reliable.

More details would be nice - where you downloaded from, your OS, your memory and H/D size, your user level (admin, power user or user) etc.Anyone been having the problem of trying to install and nothing happens? Ive downloaded both the "Dawn_Of_Skirmish_v1[1].5_AI_Mod_Install.exe" and "DoWWA_AI_Installer.exe" versions but nothing happens when i try to use them. ANyone know what might be goin on?

The rewrite of this routines is only a small part of my changes. You probably didn't read my post about the control programs. A lot has changed, but not because of the post/turret routines! At the end of the week I'll be probably finished with my changes and will present the results.

Exactly. My games also last more than half an hour. You don't really enjoy the game if you beat the enemy in 10 minutes. I know human vs. human games are very short, but even the word "Skirmish" is in the mod's name, so I assume it was done thinking mainly in skirmish games. I hope this will be fixed. If it's too complicated or time consuming I can live without such fix, but only if those conditions are met.Thudo> Actually, many of my games rarely last bellow 30 minutes, most often well above an hour. Not that I'm complaining, I hate rushing games. I've not once needed to save, though. I have all my life to waste testing Ai and drinking coffee.
