[King of Universe]

Well this is a mod I'm creating
It's Vapula's hero mod, but extended, edited and so on..

I'm adding two new factions; Elves and Goblins.
So the elves heroes from Vapula's mod will be with elves

Dark Lord of the Sith, Micks and Lauri is on the "team"
Tomat is making some models/skins

I came to the conclusion that maybe I should post a techtree

I'll only post the stuff I've changed, so no big list of buildings allready in the game

Gondor:
Heroes: King Elessar, Isildur, Faramir (new Summon) and Halbarad

Rohan:
Pippin is moved to Rohan, Aragorn Removed and Legolas moved to Elves and Treebeard is buildable at citadel.

Elves:
Heroes: Gil-Galad, Elrond, Haldir and Legolas (With Bow of Galadriel by GothmogtheOrc)
Units: High elves, Elven Warriors, Knight (I need more, I know )
Buildings: Stable, Farm, Barracks, Armory, Hero Statue, Well and Flet

Mordor:
Heroes: Gothmog, Mouth of Sauron, Witchking (with 'This is My Hour' by GothmogtheOrc)

Isengard:
Sharku, Ugluk and Saruman (with Industry and red WoP(Thanks to GothmogtheOrc))

Goblins:
Heroes: Shelob, Azog, Duburtz and maybe Balrog
Buildings: Slaughter House, Furnace, Armory, Spider Lair (by Hostile) and Goblin Pit
Units: Goblin Archer and Swordman, Big and Giant Spiders (by Hostile), Cave Troll and a Goblin Captain (berserker).

I've gotten some comments at ModDB, and they have given me an idea...
It's just that I don't know if it's good...
It is to add a building, that can build mini-balrogs, and gives leadership to balrogs (the building), and give a leadership power to the Balrog(hero) that gives bonus to other balrogs...

First, do anybody think it's a good idea, and second, is it possible to have like a max number of one unit limit so that you can only build, let's say, 5 balrogs?

I believe if you give it respawn codes, and add

MaxSimultaneousOfType = X

under the design parameters, it should work



X = 5 in your case

I don't quite understand which time this mod is set in. During the second age or third age? And I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what Gil-Galad is doing with the elves?

Since you added Azog and goblins, I suspect it is during the very late Thrid Age. But since Last Alliance elves and Gil-Galad are going to be in, I have no idea...

You really tought this trough?

Okay, here are the main idea about Elves:

That is (also because of the 2nd/3rd age stuff ) to add kinda two elven factions... So that we have; the 3rd age elves with Lothlorien as a theme, and another as a 2nd age with the LAElves as theme (Noldor and stuff). The Elves will still only be one faction in-game, but the Castle would be 2nd age style (think Gondolin style), and the camp etc. 3rd age.

This would be done through buildplots: two kinds of buildplots, each with it's own unique commandset, and the buildings that either the 2nd or 3rd age foundation builds will be either 2nd age or 3rs age style building, and thus also those buildings will have either 2nd or 3rd age elven units to build.

You forgot to say that both the castle and the camp have these two types of building foundations...

So you'll be able to use the whole faction, and not just a part.

Well, I believe that I need to explain a thing...

The reason the site hsan't been updated for 1 and a half month is;
1. I was on vacation, and didn't return till sometime into January.
2. Then I was kinda tired of modding, and wanted a break.
3. Then, when I modded again, we got some spells done, then the computer died on me
4. When I'm at the forum now, I'm either at My GF, or using a laptop, which hasn't got any mod files or the game (too small hard disc)


So, that's why nothing much has happend... I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
I just hope no-one has given up on me, and that the mod will be released soon.
