It looks like it was a connection problem, I cleaned it up.


The requested pics....



As far as pics of all the super units I'll have to do some playing and get some screen shots.. so it might be a while.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Its in the same size and power bracket as an overlord. Its not identical, but its an equivilent.

pend what are the different tech trees for each side? and what weapons does the Ra tank have?


The tech tree's are pretty universal.

1. Build War factory
2. Research Tactical Escalation
3. Build Strategy Center/Propoganda center
4. Research Stratiegic Escalation
5. Build Advanced Dozer
6. Build *Tech 2 Center*
7. Research Global Escalation
8. Build Super Weapon


*Tech 2 Center* is a unique structure for every faction. Often times this is building is a super weapon as well.

AirF: Tech Airfield (Super Weapon & Airfield)
Lazr: Satalite Relay (Super Weapon)
SupW: ICBM (Super Weapon)
Cybr: AI Lab (Research Center)

Flam: Artillery Relay (Super Weapon & Research Center)
Nuke: Isatope Lab (Research Center)
Tank: Tech Center (Research Center)
Infa: Drop Relay (Super Weapon)

GLA has not yet been modded, but will be.

hey pend, i think he meant what are the unlockable tech trees, like the lightning tech tree for tank gen. i am not to sure, can you clear me up on this aswell, like what weapon technology can you unlock.
(p.s clear up the loads of posts, if it happens again, im at skl atm :blink: and the filter blocks it) :cool: TY

Can we actuly keep some of this as like secret? to keep them wondering and this way when the mod is done they will have something to look forword to and find out for themselfs >.<

Right now only Tank general has that kind of tech tree.

nah... I don't believe too much in secrets. reading about it doesn't spoil the suprise.

Also talking about it myself is half of what keeps me interested and keeps it fresh in my mind.

It already moves at 45... Crusaders only move at 30, and the other mechs only move 18.

Normal Human locomotor is 20, Terrorists and Hijackers are 30. The spider is 45. I'm sure. I double checked the code before I responded the first time.

Don't forget if you give move orders to several units at once they will all move at the speed of the slowest unit in the group.

It always looks like they just zoom to the target


Gaurd and Atack moves are different. They allow the unit to attack with all possible speed. But a plain move order keeps them as a group.

Its always been that way, even in original Generals and ZH

You should know better than that... LOTS and LOTS of questions get answered here... I just misunderstood your question. You asked what other generals have. The anwer was none.

Tank general has

Artillery 1-3 carpet bombing as one tree (carpet bomb requires artillery 3)
tankdrop 1-3 and heavy tankdrop(hvy requires tankdrop3)
Missile Tech 1-3 (1st, 3rd, 5th lvl)
Lightning Tech 1-3 (all 3rd lvl)
Command Tech 1-3 (1st rank, tank veterancy, Field command and stratiegic command at rank 3)
