Its already been confirmed that there will be a Demo available end of December, early January.
So Yes there will be a demo before the game is out.

I would never miss out on a demo for EaW. Never.
Plus, I need to see if this machine with piece 'o' crap (well, not really, but you know) graphics card can handle it.

My connection depends a bit on the time of day and what I'm connecting to, but I've seen speed tests hit 55mbps. I think I usually get at least 5 megabit download speeds from big sites. Off this server I get 80 megabit, but that's because my desktop is wired into the same network as the server, so it's just running through my switch. And I'd probably download the demo of this game, at least to just try it out.
