I dont gewt which files I have to edit in Gmax. I mean I understand everytihng in Gmax. but the problem is I dont know which files to edit and model if I want the hobbits to get guns. Whats s the differnce between _skn and all the other models? When I play em theres no animation. They dont move. So am I supposed to make animations and them save em?
PLEEZE HELP!

open up the files you want to model, I would suppose the _SKN.w3d files.
the other files, namely _SKL.w3d or _ATKA.w3d and such are the skeleton and the animations.
Edit the _SKN.w3d file, which is the main model, bind it correctly to your skeleton, and assuming your art code is correct, they will be animated ingame without you having to reanimate them completely
