Well yesterday I took in my old laptop to work to give it in, I was then allowed to take away a nice shiney NEC Packard Bell A5 Easy Note and it rocks. So once I had my data off the old one onto the new it began, then it sort of went a bit bad when uninstalling Norton it would'nt boot XP again, so I had to do a clean install but first get off all my old data which was on the new one lol, luckily my new one has a dvd rw. So now I'm running XP pro nicely on it now, its conected to the wifi with its internal wireless no more cards for me!

pics I just cant belive how light it is, the battery is amazing as well.

The GPU is a 64 MB intel onboard its ok with Generals, not sure AOE 3 but you never know, I beefed up the RAM seeing the graphics takes some so I know have 512 but I will proberly bump it up to a gig, its not really a gameing laptop more of a portable one.

Use a proper PC. Laptops are good only for businessmen and students taking notes...nothing more.

I have heard that there are also gaming laptops available with 1024 mb ram and geforce go 7800 gtx videocard! Powered by 2,6 intel cpu and a 80 gb hd is very very biiiig for a laptop isnt it? Well, the mnster costs around 2000 euro which is also alot for a laptop .

But then it sort of defies the point of a laptop, I'm planning on upping my ram to a gig, but the battery life on those things is like an hour max its just useless if you have no power access.

Lol you never heard of Packard Bell? Thats worrying. Its a division of NEC.

They also produce pc's yes, but I havent seen a packard bell since 3 years, I thought they closed but looks like they are still in the business.

i never understood laptops, why would people want a £400 notepad???

thats much bloody heavier, and can also run out of juice faster than a hummer??

Yes it pulls the ladies, cos its shiney, what age are you living in are you thinking of the days when laptop batteries in the 1993 with Windows 3.1 when the battery was there to stop the registry been corupted lol ? This one here I dont know how much it weighs exactly proberly just over a kilogram and its thin as ever, still with drivers.
